Here at Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden, we pride ourselves on providing the perfect setting and experience for your big day. Our lush gardens, secluded woodlands, and well-maintained buildings speak for themselves, but we also provide a number of services beyond the brick and mortar venue for your wedding. Here are a few common FAQ’s that give you insight into our behind-the-scenes work!
Do you communicate directly with the caterers and other vendors to ensure everything goes smoothly?
- Yes! We are the vendors’ first point of contact, providing tours of the space in preparation for your wedding, ensuring they have the equipment they need, and to answer any questions along the way. Looking for suggestions on which vendor to use? Not only have we worked with a number of vendors in the surrounding Chicagoland area, but we also have a list of select caterers and photographers who have provided excellent service to our past brides and grooms.
Does Klehm set up the tables and chairs for my wedding?
- Yes! In fact, you will work on-on-one with Mary Pat, our Rentals Manager, to create a floor plan specific to your wedding. Whether you would like risers for your reception, an area for yard games, or cocktails under the stars on our terrace, we can accommodate you.
Will a Klehm staff member be at the venue on the event day start to finish?
- Yes! There is always at least one trained and fully qualified staff person on-site for your event, including set up and break down. On-site staff are available for trouble-shooting, ensuring the space is clean and set up properly, and to assist with tasks such as setting up AV equipment.
Will you answer wedding-related questions throughout the entire planning process?
- Of course! Simply call 815-965-8146 or email Mary Pat at [email protected].org with any questions. Whether it has to do with draping the Pavilion or access to the bridal room, we are always here to help!
