Raised on Motown records and soul music, American songwriter and powerhouse vocalist Danielle Juhre was born to bring soul to the forefront of today’s pop music. With precise vocal runs, a four and a half octave range, and not a drop of autotune, her vocal capabilities are one in a million. Heavily influenced by Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, and Mark Ronson, Juhre explains how important it is to bare her soul and tell her story with every song she writes. Whilst attending Berklee College of Music, Juhre wrote her very first single “Does She Know?”. This song was mastered by 3x GRAMMY award winning engineer Bob Katz, and later placed under 60th GRAMMY consideration for “Best R&B Song”. Along with the success of her first single, she began performing at major music festivals; Summerfest and Soul Fest in Chicago, and released her largest single to date, “You & I”. With overwhelmingly positive feedback, “You & I” gained over 150k streams on Spotify, placement on SiriusXM radio, a performance on ABC 7 Chicago’s Windy City Live, placement in 90k retail stores across North America and 63rd GRAMMY consideration for “Song of The Year” and “Best Pop Vocal Performance”. Breaking away from her world of ballads, Juhre releases her most recent single “Burning”, which has already become a force to be reckoned with. Charting in the top 100 on HOT AC Radio in The United States, “Burning” was added into rotation on various radio stations while charting in the top 50 on Shazam and featured on ABC 7 Chicago’s Windy City Live, Mahogany Sessions London, Delta Radio in Hamburg, Germany, Riptide Magazine, American Songwriter, and Siriusxm’s ‘The Pulse’.
