Gratitude turns what we have into enough.

If you see no reason for giving thanks,

the fault lies only in yourself.

Join us on this Thanksgiving weekend to experience, contemplate and appreciate the many gifts that nature offers. Gifts that are free. Gifts that are yours for the taking anytime you choose. Stroll through the night forest, your way lit by a nearly full moon, a jar candle and your heightened senses. Find the gifts that await, and make them your own.

Wear footwear suitable for trail walking and dress appropriately for whatever the weather might be. Bring a face covering for indoor use and for those rare outdoor times when physical distancing may be difficult. All ages are welcome with the understanding that this is a silent, meditative experience. Because this is an after hours program and the arboretum will be closed to the general public, please plan to arrive a few minutes early as the gates will close promptly at 5:30 PM.

Registration and pre-payment are required. Due to current COVID restrictions, group size will be limited to 9 participants. Because these walks tend to fill up quickly, we encourage you to register early.

ADMISSION: $8 adult public, $5 senior public, $3 Klehm members

REGISTRATION: To register for this program, please email [email protected] or call 815-965-8146 during regular business hours.
