7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Join us for this first-time ever, mid-winter night tranquility walk, and experience the peace and serenity mother nature offers. Participants will be given jar candles to help light the way and make the long darkness of winter a little brighter. Imagine what the rabbits, raccoons and owls will think when they see a slow parade of lights moving silently through the trails of the Arboretum. And with any luck, the night will be clear so that we can experience the beauty of this unusual “blue super moon”.
All participants will receive a self-guide so that they may repeat this experience later, on their own.
Because this is an after-hours program, and the Klehm Arboretum offices will be closed, pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Be sure to arrive a few minutes early as the entry gates will close at 7:00 pm sharp!
In the event of a severe winter storm, check our website for possible cancellation.
Non-Members: Daily admission applies. Register below.
