10 AM – 12 PM

Spring has sprung and Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden is gearing up for a great season! Do you love the outdoors and want to spend more time in the fresh air? Have you ever thought about volunteering your time and talents at Klehm Arboretum? Or have you volunteered here before and are ready to get back out here? Join us on Saturday, May 18 at 10 AM for our 2019 Volunteer Kick-off! Get a chance to meet our new Education & Programming Coordinator, Sam Burbach, learn about volunteer opportunities, meet other Klehm volunteers, and get outside to do a little volunteer work!

Klehm offers a wide range of volunteer opportunities to fit anyone’s areas of interest, skill level, and time availability. Volunteers can serve as garden stewards for specific gardens throughout the grounds, lead tour groups as a docent, volunteer for special events such as Garden Fair or Woodsong Concerts, assist in the visitors’ center, or simply volunteer for various projects as your schedule allows. Klehm staff and veteran volunteers will help train you to volunteer, so no prior experience is required.

If you’re ready to come out and share your time and talents, or if you’d like to learn more about volunteering at Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden please join us for this event! For more information about volunteering, or to RSVP for this event, please contact Sam Burbach at [email protected].
