“The deep greens of summer are beginning to fade. The first chilly nights are coming. The birds are gathering and preparing to head south.”
Join us as we kick off a new season of our popular “Tranquility Walks.” Use your senses, your breath and focused attention to make your entire being available to the many elements of nature that can mend and heal your body, mind and spirit. Leave feeling renewed, refreshed and re-energized.
Wear footwear suitable for trail walking in the woods, and dress appropriately for whatever the weather might bring. You are welcome to bring trekking poles if you wish. All ages are welcome with the understanding that this is a silent, meditative experience. Because this is an after hours program and the arboretum will be closed to the general public, please plan to arrive a few minutes early as the gates will close promptly at 6:00 PM. In the event of severe weather, check our website for cancellation information.
