It is also the life that exists in the water, and along its shores.
It is the life of the animals, the vegetation, the people
that depend on it to survive.
It is all of the art, and beauty, and culture that travels with the river.
A river is a being. A stream is alive.
Join us for this twilight Tranquility Walk, the last walk of the 2025 – 2026 season, as we focus on and celebrate the earth’s “blood flow” – the rivers and streams that bring life.
Wear footwear suitable for trail walking and dress appropriately for whatever the weather might be. Bring a walking stick or poles if you have them. All ages are welcome with the understanding that this is a silent, meditative experience.
Because this is an after hours program and the arboretum will be closed to the general public, please plan to arrive a few minutes early as the gates will close promptly at 6:30 PM.
Reserve your spot early. These walks tend to fill up quickly!
In the unlikely event of severe weather, a cancellation announcement will be posted on our website and registered participants will be notified by email.
