Join us on this first Tranquility Walk of the 2026 – 2027 season. Watch the sun set at the same time that the moon is rising on the opposite shore of the sky. Bring an open heart, a curious mind and heightened senses, and find the beauty, the splendor, the awe that exists everywhere.
Wear footwear suitable for trail walking and dress appropriately for whatever the
weather might be. Bring a walking stick or poles if you have them. All ages are
welcome with the understanding that this is a silent, meditative experience.
Because this is an after hours program and the arboretum will be closed to the
general public, please plan to arrive a few minutes early as the gates will close
promptly at 6:00 PM.
Reserve your spot early. These walks tend to fill up quickly.
In the unlikely event of severe weather, a cancellation announcement will be
posted on our website and registered participants will be notified by email.
