5:30 PM – 7:30 PM

$4/Klehm Members, $7/Seniors (62+), $10/General Admission

“You feel as if you have touched the heart of the place.
That is the way to understanding:
seeing something that you never saw before
that was always there
but you were blind to it.”

The unseen in the world around us is not the invisible, but the unnoticed. Often, we move too quickly and do not take time to observe the little things. This evening slow everything down. See the artistry of the branches silhouetted against the night sky. Hear the soft call of the Great Horned Owl as it beckons you to come and meet it. Smell the regenerating life of the forest with each step that you take.

Wear footwear suitable for trail walking in the woods, and dress appropriately for whatever the weather might bring. You are welcome to bring trekking poles if you wish.

All ages are welcome with the understanding that this is a silent, meditative experience.

Because this is an after hours program and the arboretum will be closed to the general public, please plan to arrive a few minutes early as the gates will close promptly at 5:30 PM. Group size will be limited, so register early to be sure to secure a spot! In the event of severe weather, check back on this site for cancellation information.
