Here come the flowers!

Spring is here and it is time for color to return to the garden. Join local watercolor artist, Cindy Bear, for this one day class and paint a beautiful watercolor magnolia. Prior watercolor experience is helpful. Grab a friend, pack a lunch and spend the day shaking off the winter blues. If you want to try out your hand at watercolor and don’t have supplies, you can purchase a kit from Cindy for an additional fee of $7.00.

Pre-registration is required by Wednesday, April 24th. Register early as space is limited. Minimum 6 participants/Maximum 12 participants.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds (less 10%) are available for classes when canceled at least 7 days in advance. Klehm reserves the right to cancel classes; in which case, a full refund will be issued.

Materials List:

  1. Paint colors to be sent out prior to the class
  2. #2,4,6 round paint brushes
  3. Paint Palette
  4. Painters Tape
  5. Container for water, spray bottle, paper towel, Kleenex,
  6. Cardboard or foamboard to attach painting to

Don’t worry if you do not have all the supplies, Cindy always brings extra.

Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden’s annual Plant Sale Fundraiser is now open! Purchase your plants online through the end of April and pick up your order on May 10th or May 11th in the Indoor Gallery of the Visitors Center at Klehm.

These plants have been carefully selected to be new or unique varieties of beloved perennials that would be a great addition to your home landscape.
