Solstice Tranquility Walk

Saturday, December 21, 2024

Release yourself to the forest on this, the longest night of the year.

There will be no sunlight to guide your journey.

There will be no moonlight to show you the way.

But you will have your senses and the light of your spirit.

Let the night envelop you and teach you
that you can be the light to dispel the darkness.

This is a slow, silent, guided contemplation walk through the forest. Wear footwear suitable for trail walking in the woods, and dress appropriately for whatever the weather might bring. You are welcome to bring trekking poles if you wish.

Because this is an after hours program and the arboretum will be closed to the general public, please plan to arrive a few minutes early as the gates will close promptly at 6:00 PM. Group size will be limited, so register early to be sure to secure a spot!

In the event of severe weather, we will post cancellation information on the Klehm website, and participants will be notified by email.
