Klehm Arboretum is the perfect backdrop for all occasions! A permit is required for all professional posed and formal photography or video recording.

Permits can now be booked and paid for online! Photographers and clients can book their requested date/time and pay the fee online by clicking the link provided. After the appointment is accepted and approved by Klehm Arboretum (please allow 48 hours), documents requiring signatures will be sent via email. Please use the confirmation email for the purchased permit as admission at the Gatehouse or Visitor’s Center upon arrival for the confirmed date and time. Permit fee includes admission for all included in the photography party.

If you’re an amateur photographer: We welcome you to take photos of the grounds and of family for personal enjoyment and use! Regular admission fees apply.

If you’re a professional photographer taking photos for an engagement/wedding party, family portraits, Quinceañera, Senior photos, Homecoming, Prom or for commercial purposes: In exchange for the privilege of using the grounds and gardens for your photography session, you are required to secure a photography permit for $150 for a two hour session.

If you’re a professional photographer at a wedding being held at Klehm: The reservation of the bride and groom for their ceremony and/or reception includes the right to have professional photography taken upon the grounds on the day of the wedding. No additional action is necessary regarding a photography permit.

Photographers are required to check in at the Gatehouse or Visitor’s Center upon arrival. Photography sessions are two hours in length. Photographers and clients must remain on paths, turf, trails and walkways at all times. Tripods cannot be set up in flowerbeds or in any way to impede the flow of traffic. Scheduled ceremonies and events take priority of use over any session photography. All photography sessions must be completed during scheduled times.
