Plant & Animal ID App Intro

Friday, September 20th, 2024

Keys, field guides, and identification (ID) books can be invaluable tools when encountering unfamiliar plants or animals in nature—provided you have them with you!

Join Education & Programming Coordinator Elly for an engaging class on utilizing the best plant and animal ID apps available for your phone. We’ll begin indoors with a brief introduction to these apps and how they are used before heading outside for hands-on practice.

Participants will receive a simple packet containing descriptions of each app for those who prefer not to download them during the class or just need more time to consider. Don’t miss this opportunity to enhance your nature exploration skills!

Attire: Most of the class will be outside so please dress for the weather and be prepared to do some walking!

Min/Max participants: Minimum = 4| Maximum = 20

In the event of severe weather, you will be notified of any changes via email and/or phone.
